cpautsch got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for KeylimeTie
Check out cpautsch's Logo design contest…
We need a logo design that works well on a white background and can be used in various formats such as a print, web, and embroidered on apparel. Please see our current logo at www.keylimetie.com. We are very happy with the color and font used however the black background has caused problem with print material. We also need a logo/image that can be used with the example text logo.
What's your vision?
Tagline: web design studio Desired Color Scheme: green (keylime) and other contrasting colors Accepted File Formats: EPS (vector-based for printing) Here are some questions and answers that might help you out: Project Summary: Q: What text should be included in the main part of the logo? "keylimetie" or "KeylimeTie" Q: What type of product or service do you offer? Strategic Consulting Identity & Brand Development Integrated Marketing Communications Website Design & Development Information Architecture Custom Software Solutions Content Management Systems Search-Engine Marketing & Optimization Email Marketing Campaigns Q: What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? Instant company recognition or branding. Q: What are your long term goals? We want to generate a nationally recognized brand. Audience Profile: Q: Please describe your existing audience. Business Owners, technology stakeholders and decision makers. Perception/Tone/Guidelines: Q: Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) Green is one color that should be incorporated due to the keylime name. Q: Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? Probably makes sense to include a tie and/or lime. The necktie/bowtie is probably necessary to avoid confusion with keylime PIE. Communication Strategy: Q: What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? We'd like to keep it simple so that it can be used in a variety of formats...as a website logo, business cards, brochures and embroidered apparel. Q: What is your tagline or slogan? Website Studio can be used but is not required. Q: What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? That we are professional and are extremely experienced in this industry Q: Where will your new logo be used? Web site primarily, but will be used on business cards, letterhead, shirts and hats (embroidered), etc. Competitive Positioning: Q: Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? (list competitive URLs) http://www.coghead.com/ http://www.kapowtech.com/ http://www.effectiveui.com/ Q: What sets you apart from your competitors? We've been doing business with large companies for more than 10 years and have recently packaged our services and products so that they are affordable for small and medium business. Targeted Message: Q: State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company: Where customer service comes first!
