We felt that the designer read our brief carefully and knew just what we were looking for. He provided a number of simple and powerful new logo options, while while at the same time was sensitive to our old logo and the history we were trying to retain. Awesome job!
How Mailbox Forwarding started their logo design journey
Mailbox Forwarding provides remote mailbox addresses that users can manage via an online interface. Users have their mail sent to a unique box number at our address, where the envelopes are scanned and uploaded to their online account. They can then view the mail that has arrived and request that we open and scan the contents, shred and recycle the item, or forward it anywhere in the world. To learn more about the particulars of the service, see our site, http://www.mailboxforwarding.com.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Small business owners, entrepreneurs, frequent travelers, professionals.
This business has been in operation for about 2 months, and we have a very plain, basic logo already, which you can see at http://www.mailboxforwarding.com. However, we would like something more unique and professional. The primary purpose of the logo will be as the header on our web site. We're also looking to possible change the site's header background, so feel free to create a new header background behind the logo that fit's with the logo's coloring. Also, the logo should fit well in the space it's currently in (most likely means having an image on the left and the words stretching to the right)
The logo should be professional looking and inspire confidence. It should convey two things: postal mail (perhaps a mailbox or letter) and online access. Perhaps something along the lines of a mailbox plugged into a computer - feel free to be creative. Also, in order to avoid any trademark claims from a major competitor, the design should not resemble an envelope entering a computer monitor.
