How SynientAkash started their logo design journey
I come from a business background. I currently work with small businesses and organizations in helping them establish or grow their client base or their membership through strengths of my other clients. Much of my work comes from networking businesses together to use resources of one to help another. For example, personally introducing a photographer to a wedding planner, or a Financial Advisor to a CPA. In doing this I have had the opportunity to reach out to other business ventures and opportunities as I connect with more and more businesses.
Synient is a brand that I have used in the past for Web Design and Hosting. I had sold the brand and clients to my ex-partner some time ago and now that I am able to relaunch, I am looking to re-establish the brand as a web host and e-commerce provider for small businesses. I already host many of my clients sites and am looking to move them over to this brand and use that as a jumping point.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My ideal client would be a small business local to me (Chicagoland). Since I am obviously looking to grow my client base, I am open to clients outside of Chicago, but primarily still targeting small businesses, organizations, and sole proprietors that have an established web presence and are looking to reach out, or those that are trying to establish a new home on the web.
If it helps in the design the name Synient comes from the word synergy. It is pronounced "Sin-ee-int"
I am looking for simplicity - simple enough to "grow" around it. I will be using this as a jumping point to establish a theme for our website, letterhead, business cards, etc. My past logo was some creative work with changing the font in the word Synient and making it blue. I'm not looking for that simple, but nothing too extravagant either. Also looking to stick with a blue/black, blue/green, red/black, green/black, blue/red combination, or any single color.
