Logo for "HORA" (Sanskrit for Time)

HORA

We are looking for a logo for HORA, a group (umbrella) company we intend to create, under which we intend to create multiple products in multiple industries over next decades. This is our long-term vision.
The first product of HORA will be EDFIN (for "Education Finance"), providing education loans to students. Note this logo is for Hora not Edfin.
HORA is the Sanskrit word for "time".
We want the brand to convey a synthesis of values, primarily the following:
Solidity
Skill/Creativity/Innovation
Trust (the brand must inspire trust in both our competence and our intention)
We want the logo to look solid and royal, yet modern and sleek.
Notes on vision:
HORA. Time. The one thing we all share. Time is both precious and available, both abstract and tangible. All things exist in time. Humanity’s creativity expands with time. What started as simple legal principles outlined by the ancient Greek leader Solon is today’s elaborate legal and judicial system, which reflects creation, reflects the progress of human civilization towards Justice. We are passionate about creating in multiple industries to contribute to the social and economic progress of humanity.
To this end, we start from first principles: we listen to our clients and appreciate their needs. Then, we design products that directly and creatively address those needs. We are constantly aware of the best practices around the world. We not only incorporate what works, but also innovate on existing models, constantly pushing the boundaries in pursuit of perfection.

One potential logo concept is to incorporate stylized motifs of an hourglass and/or watch, both of which are connected to “time”.

Another motif to explore is incorporating the symbol of infinity, perhaps alongside a stylized image of the hourglass. Infinity is connected to eternity, timelessness.
If we were never born “in time”, we would never understand Eternity or Timelessness.
Through Time, through HORA, we connect to Eternity. Eternity here represents something spiritual, metaphysical, something beyond us, a higher power.

Other symbols the founders are passionate about are “libra” (the balancing scale) or “Lady Justicia”.

Both “libra” and “Lady Justicia” stand for justice. Perhaps this idea can be connected to the idea of time: with time, all wrongs are righted: the arrogant are humbled, and the humble are exalted. With time, the arc of universe bends toward Justice.

These are just ideas. Just make the logo symbolic in some meaningful way.

(Also, regarding colors, we want gold to feature prominently in the logo.)
