emily.haines got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for a US expat tax business

Accounting & Financial
I'm setting up a company to do US taxes for American expats, primarily in Berlin Germany. Many of my clients will be part of the artistic/design/startup scene in Berlin and I would like a logo that is fresh and cool, but still sophisticated enough for an accounting business (without being super boring and stodgy). I'd be interested to see some subtle references to the US like stars and stripes or related graphics.
Other color requirements
My work is US based and I would like a red, white, and blue color scheme that references the US. I really don't want navy and gray or KPMG/Deloitte navy and white. I'd like the colors to pop more and be fresher than that.
The logo should easily read as expat tax solutions, not x patax solutions.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
