How Guy Horrocks started their logo design journey
We are Carnival Labs. We make iPhone and iPad applications for the world's leading brands. We have dealt a lot through agencies, however, the tide is turning and we are now working as well for a lot of great brands direct!
We are planning to re-brand and relaunch our website in accordance with a decent amount of press that is coming up.
Our company is half creativity & half science. We are fortunate to have a team with some of the most experienced and smartest mobile/ iPhone and iPad developers in the World. We've developed number 1 apps for our clients and had apps we've made for them featured by New York Times, Cnet, CNN, Forbes and even by Apple on iTunes, in their Apple stores and on TV commercials.
So we create great stuff and have amazing clients, but we are so busy we haven't had time to work on our own brand. We are very professional but we like to standout and have fun. Carnival meets Science.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is:
1) Brands who may want development.
2) Agencies looking for a great partner on a project.
And then to a lesser degree:
3) Media/Press as we expand and get more noticed.
4) Potential creative and tech whizzes who may want to come work with us.
We want a logo for Carnival Labs that can be used in multiple ways.
For that reason it can definitely be simple, as we may want to use it in black and white on different resources or promotional materials and a new website we will launch.
