Founded in 1981, the Orphan Foundation of America serves thousands of young people in foster care across the United States. Whether it's providing them with college scholarships, connecting them with mentors and internships, sending them care packages, or testifying before Congress, OFA is a passionate champion of foster youth.
The Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program offers funds to foster youth and former foster youth to enable them to attend colleges, universities and vocational training institutions.
Every student is eligible for up to $5000 or the total cost of attendance as estimated by their college or technical school. The funds may be used for tuition, school supplies, a computer, and approved living expenses including rent, health care and child care. Students receiving funds prior to their 21st birthday may continue to receive support until age 23.
Currently, OFA administers federal funds for our nine state partners. The current logo is not used on the website. The website will be undergoing a redesign in the near future with the logo foremost and center.
We put the state name over a graduation hat. The symbol is the same but the state name changes.
Our state partners, universities (they see the logo on program docs), program participants, media, etc.
.Engaging design. Color scheme - Feel free to use the site as a reference but don’t feel restricted by the color scheme. Again the site will be redesigned shortly.
.We need a logo that can be quickly customized per state, yet stand alone. For instance, the logo on the website would not be state specific. However, the logo on paperwork and brochures would be.
.We would like esp. and psd. files
