Pamoja
We are developing and selling an application for managing the business of ecommere stores. The application is a desktop application that synchronizes data with popular shopping cart software programs like Magento, eBay, Virtuemart. The application is then used to support business processes not (adequately) supported in the shopping cart software itself: purchasing, inventory control, marketing, forecasting, CRM. etc.
We are a small young modern company. We are located in The Netherlands but we have a global network of (freelance) people we work with. We are an online company, exclusively selling our software licenses over the internet.
Our target market is small to medium sized ecommerce websites. They typically are 1-8 people in size, don't use a lot of business applications yet. Our target market understands the power of the internet, and are used to working with it.
Our customers use our software to make conducting ecommerce business easier, spend less time on processes, control costs and information, and make more money.
Our customers are small companies but ambitious, eager to learn and improve.
The logo must indicate the business goal (support ecommerce business processes) in a subtle way. Subtle means no too obvious illustrations like shopping carts (or they must be very stylized).
The logo must have a symbol/icon as part of the logo (as well as a typeface part) that can be used separately in f.e. the application icon. The logo must contain the brand name Pamoja, and the words eCommerce Manager. I'd prefer variations with and without 'eCommerce Manager'.
Included are screenshots of the application. The new (yet to launch) website will most probably have a similar color scheme. The logo must visually fit in the application user-interface design (screenshot indicates where the logo goes) as well as the website. The logo can but must not necessarily (exclusively) use the same colors or font as the application/website. Be creative.
The application uses the following blue RGB colors:
191,219,255
219,231,245
233,240,249
21,66,139
And a yellow/orange: 254,241,87
Again, the logo does not have to use these colors as long as it fits in it. See attached image where the logo goes.
The font used in the application is Tahoma although this is not strictly required for the logo.
The logo must fit the user-interface design of the application. It must be modern, fresh, a bit web 2.0 but not overstating.
Requirements for the delivery:
- The format of the winning logo should be delivered as a vector file (eps or ai). I hope this is not a problem (let me know otherwise).
- The symbol part of the logo must also look well in small sizes like 16x16, 24x24, 32x32. If necessary, deliver optimized versions for these sizes.
- If the logo contains 3D/glossy effects, there should also be a matching simple flat (non-3D) version delivered.
