A wine enthusiast's blog site. The name of the site is "korka.no", where "korka" is a Norwegian word for corked/a wine cork.
Logo types to explore
The name of the site is "korka.no", where "korka" is a Norwegian word for corked/a wine cork. We're not too serious; we're considering both a stylish/modern approach and a comic approach. Feel free to use your imagination - we'll give you feedback as you go :-) Palettes we like (but we're not limiting you to these): http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/793968/Artichokes_and_Wine http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/188306/i_am_NOT_yours http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/1191415/Curtains_for_a_Dress http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/1270009/Good_Dreams http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/1411495/Color_Oddity http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/1479605/UXbooth What we DONT want: Wordart/clipart, corporate. Not too boring. Technical requirements: Vector or design that is easily convertable to vector. LOGO: We want a logo which conveys the name of the site. The logo should be easily distinct even when reduced to a height of ~90 pixels. SCORING: Wines may be scored from 1 to 6. There's several ways to approach this, some may be: - Smileyfaces from happy person with party hat to regular happy smiley, not so happy smiley, sad smiley and dead smiley - Wine glasses with/without content (five full and one empty = 5 of 6) - A glass filled with corks (1-6 corks) and large number besides ...or some other thing, use your imagination :-) BEST OF/RECOMMENDED: Some graphics to use with some articles, eg: - Anbefalt (=recommended) - Godt kjøp (=good value) - Unngå! (=avoid!) - Hverdags (=everyday wine) - Dårlig kjøp (=not good value) - Spennende (=exciting)
