Virtjoule
Company is developing a novel wireless device monitoring solution to reduce a commercial building's energy and maintenance costs.
The name comes from energy efficiency, and is a combination of the word virtual and joule (e.g. energy). The cheapest form of energy is the energy you don't use.
Virtjoule’s team highlights: successful commercialization of cleantech software (acquired by Carrier); expertise of low-cost rapid prototype design/manufacture; development of robust engineering organizations for both Fortune 500 (Director IBM) and venture-backed startups (VP Macromedia)
The target audience will be customers (see below), angel/venture investors and potential employees.
Target customers are commercial building owners and operators that manage large portfolios (1000+) of buildings. Typical customers are Walmart, General Electric, Target, Johnson Controls and the Federal Government.
Our solution (integrated hardware and software) will be monitoring HVAC rooftop units (i.e. package units) and more specifically their components (i.e. compressors and fans).
See http://www.trane.com/COMMERCIAL/DNA…spx?i=1104.
The product has the potential to monitor other types of machines in the future.
The buildings to be monitored are low to medium rise buildings like strip malls, large malls and low rise office buildings (4 stories or less)
The audience is almost exclusively male with an average age between 35-50 and generally have technical educations.
The logo will be deployed as: a permanent label on the solutions wireless hardware monitoring devices, on our marketing materials and on our website.
