Logo for "The Daily SCoop" - an information portal

Looking for a logo for a section of our website called "The Daily SCoop", which is a daily information portal with news headlines and often-used links.
The Daily SCoop
What's your vision?
Tagline: Today in South Carolina or Today in SC Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) Our site, www.sciway.net, is a public information directory of internet resources in the state of South Carolina (USA). As a way to provide our visitors a quick summary of what is happening around the state, we developed "The Daily SCoop", which is a page (http://www.sciway.net/today/) that includes news headlines, calendar of events, road conditions, and other related and timely resources. The idea behind the logo should reflect a daily, changing, updated, and fresh resource. The logo should be designed for a 180X60 space. Since we will be using the logo on a variety of backgrounds, it needs to be transparent. The logo should include some kind of call to action (ex: click here) and have the text "The Daily SCoop" prominently displayed. If space allows, "Today in South Carolina" or "Today in SC" can also be included in the logo.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
