A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON THE BUSINESS:
We will have 75% of our space committed to a full service open concept workspace with 12-18 private offices and 2 conference rooms. We will have nightly "Sessions" that may be a book signing or a cool lecture on trends in digital media. 25% of our space will be a Coffee bar that serves beer and wine (perhaps cocktails). WHAT WE WANT FROM THE LOGO:
We may or may not use the tagline "workplace" in the logo.
I need a logo that captures our start-up bohemian vibe yet will be accessible to the mainstream market. I love logos that have multiple layers that different target markets will recognize.
Hudson is meant to reflect a nostalgic 1940's notion of a Madison avenue advertising agency, without the "literal" 1940's reference. This needs to be modern and forward thinking with a nod to the past.
It is key that people feel a familiarity with the logo and that it does not seem over produced as creative will revolt against this. However a logo mark that could be used separately is open territory. We need either the full logo or the logomark to work as an avatar in all social media forums: Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook..etc.
