TElliston got their new logo design by running a design contest:
LOGO for Costa Rica Tourism Web Company
Check out TElliston's Logo design contest…
The company is called Costa Rica DEtour. It seems everyone that visits Costa Rica goes the same places and does the same things. We offer truly unique experiences...beautiful places tourists don't know about and exposure to true local culture. "DEtour" is appropriate because it's quite different from a typical "tour" and the places are often "off-the-beaten path"...like a detour. The logo must convey fun, but also must support the DEtour image...that this is not your typical experience. Regardless of whether or not you win the contest, we'd be happy to talk with you about any upcoming vacations you may have to Costa Rica!

What's your vision?
Tagline: N/A Desired Color Scheme: Up to Designer's Discretion Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) The logo, first and foremost, must convey "fun" and "off-the-beaten path". Additional Comments: 1) In general, we prefer simple and "clean" design - busy doesn't work for us. Â 2) "Costa Rica Detour" is long. Though certainly not required, we are expecting to see "Costa Rica" placed above "DEtour," which should be given prominence. We are thinking it's too long for a single line...but again, if you can make it look awesome, go for it! Â 3) Costa Rica is known for it's natural beauty and biodiversity. "Naturalness" will be preferred. Â 4) In general, We like web 2.0 style designs - though that is not technically a "requirement." Â
