ONE got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Cool New Blog About Crowdsourcing
Check out ONE's Logo design contest…
We started a new blog to cover crowdsourcing and can't think of a better way to get our logo than to have it designed here! Looking to see the talent here shine...
What's your vision?
Tagline: Not required, but you are welcome to suggest Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) We are a new blog focusing on crowdsourcing. Please take a look at the blog -- www.crowdring.com so that you can understand what we are about. We have been very impressed with the many sites in this category, including SitePoint/99Designs. We are looking for a dynamic, contemporary logo that reflects the excitement in crowdsourcing and the businesses that operate in that space. The logo is needed primarily for online use, but we also want to make sure it looks good in print.  Our name is a combination of "crowd", the first part of crowdsourcing, and "ring", suggesting that this is a common point for all crowdsourcing sites/businesses.  We have no color or font preferences. We really look forward to seeing what you come up with.Â
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.

And then… they selected a winner!
Mogeek is the absolute best designer that I have ever worked with. I am a very difficult and demanding client and expect only the very best. He exceeded my expectations in every way. By the time we were done, I felt guilty not paying him more. If you have the good fortune of being accepted as a client by this designer, you should run, not walk, as fast as you can toward his work!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
