What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I already have a foundation called The Blue Lion Foundation. This logo must complement the already existing logo from the Foundation, but doesn't need to duplicate it exactly. The investment company is distinct from the foundation. However, people going from the investment company to the foundation web site should be able to see the connection.
The foundation website is at http://www.bluelionfoundation.org
Also, the investment company may have sub-divisions, such as Blue Lion Capital Partners, Blue Lion Capital Fund, Blue Lion Investment Advisors, etc. The logo must have the words Blue Lion and have a place where the sub-divisions can be interchangeable.
