Biodigital Glue
I'm a software engineer. I worked for Apple on Mac OS X for 10 years, and I left to pursue my own projects. My business card title used to be "Biodigital Duct Tape" because I write code that connects people with computers. I've decided to use that phrase, simplified to "Biodigital Glue" as my own personal brand, to encompass the various software and hardware projects I'm working on.
My target audience is ordinary people who find technology both amazing and frustrating. I work to make things easier, simpler, more powerful, and fascinating.
I'm looking for a logo or multiple pieces of digital artwork that could be used on anything from an invoice run through a copy machine, business cards, a blog header image, up to a large banner hung outdoors.
I'm partial to a "poster art" style, with solid colors and lines. Also, it might be cliche, but the typical school glue bottle is an easily identifiable element, but not a strict requirement.
Sadly, I can't draw much more than stick figures (see http://biodigitalglue.com/ for my stab at this), but I have great respect for those of you who bend our digital tools to your will.
I'd like to end up with hi-resolution original format files (photoshop, illustrator, pixelmator, whatever tool you used), and PNGs.
