skaye needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 37 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
I am setting up a "network" of related blogs and will be producing a variety of written, audio and video content for these pages.
The target market for these initial two blogs are technical people. I'm not selling anything to them, just providing content.
I need two website logo/banners designed for a couple of blog sites I'm setting up. They are similar in theme/style/etc, so I want the two banners to look similar, but not identical.
The two sites are:
Sean on IT - seanonit.com
Sean on Startups - seanonstartups.com
The header area is 104em or 1040px wide. Height is more of a design issue - not too big obviously. I also want favicons for each site (or one for the whole network).
A couple of sites that do similar things with full length banner logos are:
http://www.fuseboxtheatre.com/
http://blog.tipd.com/
http://www.growingupgreen.com.au/
Those are just a couple of examples. A rough draft of seanonit.com is up and I'm going with a pretty heavy black theme at the moment, but I'm not stuck on it. Fell free to innovate with colour.
