Attorney & Law
UPDATE: abandon the wax seal, UNLESS you show me a GREAT concept. UPDATE: I live in Laredo, TX. If you all want to get a sample of what the logos look like here in Laredo (they're bad, but I want mine to be the best one in this town). I don't want my logo to look anything like the ones that are in this town. UPDATE: can someone try the "G" to look like a "seal" on an envelope? UPDATE: feel free to submit concepts WITHOUT "PLLC," it might make it look cleaner. Try making the G a logo on its own with it being capitalized and maybe have some sort of original distinct design, and the other letters "UZMAN" in small caps to emphasize the big "G" I feel like using the letter "G" on top of the words "Guzman Law Firm, PLLC" is REDUNDANT because the letter "G" is not a logo that means something entirely different than what the name already means. It's simply an initial. E.g., if the company name were "Bass Law Firm" then it would make some sense to have an actual bass -- as in the fish -- above the Bass Law Firm name. Here, however, the "G" is merely a redundant first initial of the company name. We provide relentless legal representation for all our clients in Texas. We provide relentless representation. Or Trial Attorney Target audience: a client that needs an attorney that has trial skills (the nuclear bomb of legal services) to get better offers by the opposing party during negotations. This is how I plan to market myself. That's why I want my logo to be powerful, but minimalist at the same time. It should be elegant. Open to ideas. The slogan is NOT mandatory. I want something clean that is NOT cluttered. My first name is Javier, but I'm not sure if I want it incorporated into my logo because I plan on making it a big law firm.
I want my brand identity to be modern, clean, sleek, and elegant.

And then… they selected a winner!
This design turned out perfect for my target market and also for my own taste. It looks trendy, simple enough, and it showcases my name, my title, logo and incorporates scissors into the design so that even if I choose to use the logo alone, my audience gets an idea of what I do. This designer seemed happy to make any changes I needed. Very satisfied.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
