DoubleGlasses knew just what I wanted and provided the perfect design on the first try.
They came up with an original idea that met the criteria of my brief. They were also very easy to work with and responsive to my requests for alterations.

I like the simplicity in a masculine presentation
I like the simplicity.
Like the overall look. It's not entirely simplistic and its graphical but I like the refined look.
Simplicity in a masculine presentation
Of course the fact that its in a house shape does make it standout for me.
I love handwriting and so while this is a bit hard to read as a logo in my opinion I'm not opposed to going with handwriting as long as its legible. I also like the simplicity and refined look to match
Truly basic but very modern. I like this a lot too
Clean and refined would be the top two words I could use to typically convey my likes. While I am not opposed to graphics, for now, I am leaning towards a logo based on typography.
The logo should stand out. On the blog, it will be presented on the main page overlaid on top of a photograph which will change as a new article is uploaded. Any other page it will be presented on a blueish and/or greyish background.
Of course, nothing is written in stone so feel free to wow me with something I am not expecting. As a reminder we will be a blog that I expect will be viewed equally on desktop and blog so it must scale well. Otherwise, the logo will be used in social media and email.
The blog will be a representation of me so I'd like some consideration for my personality and style. I'm a mid-30s gay guy who has a knack for design and architecture. My influences are Martha Stewart (from the original Martha Stewart Living days), Oprah and Lewis Howes. I'm known to be stoic but surprisingly fun. I love refined looks whether in fashion or design.
