I'm the principal of a company called Interrupt Media. The business specializes in developing & implementing comprehensive online & media projects. Founded in May 2009, the company targets brands that have strong growth opportunities. The projects that we currently work on are The Daily Energy Report & Forms.com.
The Daily Energy Report is a show that spotlights the day's energy news but will also showcases interviews with industry experts, celebs, local & national leaders & other influential businessmen & women. While there are a couple of online magazines that target this industry, there are very few sites that actually produce web shows.
Forms.com is a leading resource for all types of online forms. Whether its legal forms, real estate forms, tax & accounting forms or just web forms, our site has a large inventory of free & non-free forms.
The concept for the company is to promote an image like we’re around to shake stuff up, and “interrupt” the way things are done and looked at, but for the better. With The Daily Energy Report (http://www.dailyenergyreport.com), the goal is to interrupt the way people view energy consumption. With Forms.com the goal is to interrupt the way people purchase forms online. So the key here is that the logo gives off the message that we are a creative builder of brands and message.
80% business, 20% consumer
Business: Businesses looking to align themselves with a vendor (that’s us) that thinks outside of the box and executes. They need video production, online marketing consulting, business development consulting, content creation.
Consumer: Progressive thinkers who are easily influenced. Also they are a little image conscious but very well educated. Middle to upper class.
The best company that I’d like to compare to is the Virgin brand. They have their hands in everything but the name Virgin is in everything. Their logo is sleak and sexy and easily incorporates the different business names with the “Virgin” name. I'm a big fan of keeping things simple but I would like someone's first impression to be "wow this is company gonna be really cool and reputable". Thank you for your efforts.
I'm looking for something that looks like it’s an ad agency or media company. Some of the projects that we work on are projects that we own while others are deals/partnerships that we have with other companies.
There are many different divisions that might grow out of this Interrupt Media brand. Which means that additional logos might be created for other “Interrupt” Companies (ex: Interrupt Sports or Interrupt Productions etc.). So it is important to make the word “Interrupt” stand out. And, I want something really simple, sleak and sexy. So play with different fonts and different ways to make different letters in the name stick out maybe. I’m ok with not having a symbol if you think that just having a really great way of displaying the name is enough.
