I like clean, elegant logos. My favorite logos are usually one or two colors and easy to read the text. This logo must be versatile, as it will be used on a website, stationary/paper/business card, the cover of printed material (eg, books) and so forth. Thus, the colors must look good on the screen and in print.
Ideally, it will have a symbol of some sort.
A few logos that I like can be found here: http://www.fuelyourcreativity.com/5…spiration/
My favorites are:
#1: interfacefix --- beautiful colors and hints at education, learning, science teaching my company will be doing
#2: design-snips -- simple and without too many colors
#3: blue giraffe -- cool, but I realize that my company name does not have an obvious imagine (eg, animal) like this one
#4: handleBarista -- again, simple with clean image, easy to read.
I posted the "favorites" above just so you get an idea of my style, but please do not feel that you need to emulate the designs that I posted -- be creative and follow your gut!
Lots of tutoring sites have books or pencils in their logos -- I want to avoid these, unless you think of something very innovative and clever.
HEY GUYS -- HOW ABOUT SOMETHING INVOLVING A BRAIN? That could be cool
