Icon Medical is an innovative health care company which seeks to partner with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and employers to improve the quality of health care, reduce costs, and improve the quality of life of providers and consumers of that care. We seek to conduct business with impeccable integrity, high ethics, and flawless precision. Our major initiative is the development of employer-sponsored, on-site or near-site clinics which provide primary care, urgent care, occupational medicine, and chronic disease management. Through aligning the goals of the employer with the provider, Icon seeks to restrain costs and promote wellness and health. This is an emerging market, and there are several "major" players in this market with national brand name recognition. We believe that we will deliver a superior product, and we want our brand to reflect our professional and serious attempt to dominate this market. We will partner with established health care organizations, and our logo will, in part, legitimize our professional commitment to fulfilling our mission of providing world class health care.
Our major market is self-insured, medium to large employers (500-10,000 employees.) There are approximately 7600 corporate campuses in the United States with over 1000 employees. Over 50% of them are potential clients. We also have a sales and marketing division which targets individual physician practices, multi-provider group practices, and hospital systems. Our clients are highly-educated professionals: CEOs, COOs, human resource directors, and physicians. Our logo will need the sleekness and seriousness of this caliber of company.
This is our company logo. Icon Medical is the first of several companies which will carry the Icon name. All will be Icon Holdings' companies. The Icon logo will accompany each without variance. Therefore, the "icon" part of the logo will be matched with each of our companies...Icon Medical, Icon Energy Solutions, Icon Financial, etc.
Our goal is to focus on the "Icon" part of the name. The i should be lower-case. The dot over the i has symbolic meaning. Our owners have a devout Roman Catholic heritage. The dot over the i should represent the Eucharist in a subtle way. A non-Catholic should look at the logo and say, "That is a really cool logo!" A Catholic might say, "kind of looks like the Eucharist." This really needs to be subtle in that we certainly do not want to alienate anyone in our business or professional dealings.
We are leaning toward darker colors: black, dark blue, darker green, etc. so that this will stand out on business cards, letterhead, etc. All of our promotional pieces will carry the logo. Please give thought to fonts which would be readable if sewn into a shirt or other marketing items.
