SideBox.com
We are a team of very experienced entrepreneurs who have a track record of success and innovation in easy-to-use layman’s software, but who need help with our branding. Winning logo will proudly decorate our website, application, and our promotional shirts, caps, and marketing gear. We would love to form a permanent relationship with the right designer, but not required.
Our typical customer is a small business owner, usually in the home / auto / construction repair, sales, or service oriented industry who probably drives a truck with his business logo and phone number on the door. SideBox is their preferred iPhone (and Droid) app - helping them convert leads into appointments, appointments into jobs, and jobs into payments. In other words, SideBox is their online toolbox they use to manage their sales cycle and convert leads into cash.
We are looking for a logo represent our product both on the web and in the app store. The web version of the logo may incorporate the product name as two words “Side Box” or as one “SideBox”, but this is not a requirement.
Concepts we’ve been tossing around:
1) Simple, perhaps box-shaped - as our product name implies. Our product impression is partially dependent upon app-stores, so we want this to be easily recognizable.
2) Tread plate / diamond plate - our customers are familiar with truck tool boxes, and tread-plate is bad-ass!
3) Key in tool-box lock, such as this: http://www.highwayproducts.com/Hansen_lock.jpg
4) Staying away from metallic - we would love some corporate colors, and since we have no color skills ourselves, we need help!
** Please note that the current content at the website SideBox.com is not ours - the name transfer has not yet completed.
