StandUp4SEALs is a local organization with a mission to help the families of fallen Navy SEALs and other special ops warriors via an athletic event held in Ocean City, NJ. Our goal is to raise $100,000 dollars within five years.
StandUp4SEALs is kicking off its 1st Annual Ocean City athletic challenge event on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day Weekend (May 25, 2013). The goal is to have an entirely unique event to Ocean City, the first of its kind to offer 4 simultaneous challenges including:
• A 1 mile “Battle of the Paddle” (SUP) event
• A 2 Mile TEAM sand-based obstacle course run
• A 4 block fun/run event for children 4 to 10 years of age
• A 4 block Patriot Walk led by bagpipers to honor all our veterans.
We want to showcase how “America’s greatest family resort can truly help America’s greatest elite warrior families.” This race is to honor the men who have lost their lives in pursuit of protecting our freedoms and to provide practical assistance to the families they leave behind. All proceeds of the event will go to the Navy Seal Foundation and its partners which give 95% of all donated funds directly to the families.
StandUp4SEALs is endorsed and supported by The Navy SEAL Foundation through our partnership with the One Team, One Fight and The 31 Heroes Project. A popular saying among the Navy SEALs is that it ‘Pays to be a Winner’ which is what our country is all about. Our volunteer group has pledged to ‘Get in the Fight’ and we want to be first place on the Leader Board.

This logo will not just be used for this one athletic event, but will be used to launch our fundraising platform where we may have adventure races, golf outings, etc. The Stand Up 4 SEALs brand needs to be general and memorable enough to work for a host of different national-level events. The "Get In The Fight" tagline should be incorporated. We would love to incorporate an American flag and possibly a folded flag in the the number 4, but not required, just an idea. Logos like the Wounded Warrior Project and other military themed brands are simple and are memorable, which is where we are going. This design will be used and promoted nationally and will be a critical aspect of building our fundraising brand.
