How UltraCombo started their logo design journey
We are a young company that provides software to gyms and the health and fitness sector and we are looking for an exciting new logo to represent out brand.
Our web based software provides fun and easy to use tools to help people reach their health and fitness goals - examples include exercise maps, workout plans, body measurements, goals, fitness testing, charting.
We have 5 distinct products, each targeted at a slightly different audience. (See Target Audience).
We have a strong focus on bringing technology to individuals in an easy to use interface and we would like our logo to be clean and clear reflecting that usability focus.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our core target audience are people interested in their health and fitness. Male and female, specifically in the age range of 18-45.
Our software is made of 5 product lines with audience as below:
Gym - Targeted at gym members
Home - Targeted at people exercising home
Elite - Targeted at elite athletes
Trainer - Targeted at personal trainers/nutritionists
Corporate – Targeted at workforce
Some of our audience will be tech savvy, but we want to appeal to the broader audience especially those who are a little daunted by new technology.
We need a logo for our business that appeals to our wide audience, and conveys the user-friendly technology aspect of our health and fitness software
The first point is that our products are all based around helping people improve their health and fitness through exercise and nutrition and staying motivated by seeing their progress on graphs. This is key and must come through in the design.
The second key design point is it has to convey that what we offer is clean, simple to use for everybody.
