Maestro sausages are premium quality, old-school style Italian and specialty sausages manufactured in Los Angeles!
Logo types to explore
Attached is the file containing our current logo that we have been using for decades. We need to modernize it and get it looking sharp, while at the same time, maintaining the integrity of the characters, and its classic, old-school look. Our requirements are that the general concept of the design must stay almost exactly the same (i.e., the characters of the maestro with the two sausages, and the bandstand they are standing on). Fine tuning or sharpening the design is ok, but nothing major. At the same time, we are hoping to see some creativity in the overall shape of the final design, the background, or any creative touches you can think of adding (for example, we used to have a design that had music notes coming off of the sausages’ instruments). Also, please feel free to take off the wording that circles the design. We don't really need it to say "authentic family recipes, passed down from generation to generation," nor do we need a circular design. The winning image will convey the following ideals: High quality, simple, clean (as I’m sure you can imagine, an image of cleanliness is a big deal for the sausage industry), upscale, Italian, and part of the Los Angeles culture (optional). Please refrain from using greens, blues, or any other color that, when next to food, can give a rotten appearance. Again, we want this to help draw people’s attention, but we want a slightly more modernized, old-school, upper-class look. Also, something I forgot to mention before was that we are definitely a fun, kind of goofy company so don't be afraid to add a little humor to the designs! Thank you!
