Attorney & Law
JURIST (http://jurist.org) is an online legal news and commentary non-profit run mostly by volunteer law students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. We have a world-wide audience of academics, professionals, students, policy-makers and people generally interested in the law and legal developments. We've been a leader in objective legal news and reasoned expert commentary since 1996. We're updating our site, and our logo, to present a more modern face to the world.
Logo types to explore
You can see the new site we're working on at http://test.jurist.org. It may give a better sense of an aesthetic than the sliding bars above. You can also see where we're starting from in this redesign at http://jurist.org.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
JURIST.org collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
