We are a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm. Within our office, we have 3 distinct brands: The Kirkland Company (https://www.thekirklandco.com/), Market Street Retail (https://www.marketstreetretail.com/), and Milan Insurance Partners (http://www.milaninsurancepartners.com/). We have an umbrella brand known as Redwood Collective (www.growwithredwood.com). This umbrella entity will allow us to connect all 3 of the brands (which gives you background on the company - please consult the above websites to see logos of existing 3 brands as well as Redwood brand) Our core values: -Selflessness -Disciplined Effort -Do the Right Thing -Market Knowledge -Compete to Win Our Core Purpose: We sell investments to invest in our people and equip them to invest in others. Our target audience: Commercial real estate owners - owners of apartments, self-storage facilities, retail strip centers, single tenant retailers, owners of office buildings, industrial buildings, etc. This audience is wealthy and ranges on the scale from unsophisticated ('My father owned and operated this apartment and so now I do') all the way to highly institutional ('I am the Vice President of Acquisitions of a multibillion dollar Real Estate Investment Trust') Background on the name 'Redwood Collective': Our company invests heavily in its people. The reason we like the concept of Redwood is, though Redwoods can grow to be the tallest trees on earth, their root system is only 6 to 12 feet deep. Redwoods create the strength to withstand powerful winds and floods by extending their roots more than 50 feet from the trunk and living in groves where their roots can intertwine. So we love the fact that the growth of the Redwood tree is second to none, but the grouping of trees is very dependent upon each other. We want to create a logo called "Redwood University" - this is going to be our educational and cultural platform with the aim of improving peoples' personal and professional lives. We want this logo to tie into the Redwood Collective logo but have a new design based on the educational component of it. VERY IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER: Our CEO wants to make the logo very appealing on merchandise - clothes, t-shirts, hats, etc, etc. Please factor that into the design.
