Krista19856 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help established CPA firm move forward into the future with a new logo!
Check out Krista19856's Logo design contest…
Proven, Dynamic and Different (though we want the logo to be able to be used with AND without the tag and to see both versions)
Accounting & Financial
75-year-old CPA firm in a more conservative southeastern U.S. city is in the process of a rebranding initiative. Their intention is to honor their longevity and capitalize on their reputation for quality and reliability, while moving the firm forward toward a more dynamic, difference making future. The firm serves corporate clients in a variety of industries including the non-profit/exempt organizations, professional practices, medical groups/healthcare, legal, auto dealerships, banks, timber companies and governmental entities. The firm also serves family-owned businesses and individuals. The logo must appeal to clients and prospective clients, as well as referral sources (bankers, attorneys, board members) and existing and prospective employees (mostly CPAs).
Logo types to explore
The key ideas that affect the logo are the firm’s dynamism and intention to move forward into the future. The sites for the current logo, logos we like, and competitors' logos we do not want to emulate are in the "Smith Dukes Logo Helpful Web Sites" document provided. The logo should contain a “bug” or graphical element. Each element should be able to stand on its own and used together and the client would like to see the logo with the bug and name only and the bug, name and tag. For the “bug” the firm is okay with using the letters SD, but they also want to see some abstract options, too. We do not want a logo with dollar signs, puzzles, plus signs, subtraction, multiplication, division or other math signs. We are likely to populate their web site and other collateral with pictures of professional, younger people. When final, we'd like the logo in EPS, JPG, and PNG for sure (and others if designer feels they are important) in full color and one color (should be able to be used in black/white for certain purposes). We'll need the logo saved together with the bug and tagline and all pieces separately. Thank you for reading! I look forward to seeing your creativity and answering any questions you may have.
