Castellan Lending is new mortgage broking business from Debt Man Walking author, financial adviser and national columnist Bruce Brammall.
Bruce began Castellan Financial Consulting in 2009 following the strong response to readers of Debt Man Walking, a how-to finance book aimed at Australia’s Generation Xers, or those born in the 60s and 70s.
Understandably, most people thought Debt Man would sell debt, mortgages and loans. But he didn’t (well maybe just a little). But now he does. And he wants to bring the same quality of advice to mortgage broking that Castellan Financial Consulting has bought to financial advice.
The design of the logo should be highly complementary to the current Castellan Financial Consulting logo. See http://www.castellanfin.com.au or http://www.castellanfinancial.com.au (the websites are being updated as this competition is being run). The logo should be a different colour, ie, not green, but potentially a blue, or purple base, but a colour that will sit well alongside the Castellan Financial Consulting logo, as it often will.
Castellan Financial Consulting’s logo is part castle, part shield, as “castellan” means “protector of the castle” or “lord of the castle”. Instead of CFC’s castle, Castellan Lending should probably have something that is identifiably a property, but that could be either a residential or commercial property. Safety, protection and quality are also hallmarks of Castellan’s financial advice process that should also come across to the new business, Castellan Lending.
