They did an outstanding job. Very professional and creative. Would definitely use them again.
I liked the simplicity of the design and the aesthetic of it. All the other designs were quite complicated, but this one was very nice and streamlined, and the designer was very accommodating and really keen to make us happy. Would recommend again!
Great logo, great designer. Thank you!

My current logo and website uses a lot of Green. There should be an option that does in fact include that color palette.

I love the custom lettering in this one. It's also nice to see an option that doesn't have a swash (which are often over used)
I thought this could serve as inspiration of how one my lock up the mark within a type logo
Another example of how you could incorporate the mark within a shape
fantastic example of taking a type face and tweaking it slightly to make it your own. The was the type logo that inspired the current version of GRAND OPTIMIST
Another great example of taking a font and making it more than something that is simply typed out.
I have created a mark that I really love. The "smiling king" as I like to call it MUST REMAIN within the logo. What I've never loved about the logo I created is the typography. I tried several options and did in fact spend some time taking a font and customizing it a bit. But, I still think it can be improved upon. I always envisioned using a script font or hand drawn lettering. If you're planning to simply take a font and type out the words Grand Optimist then chances are your design won't be chosen. I've spent the last 15 years as a Creative Director / Art Director and my tastes reflect that.
I definitely have I would like the new type to work on it's own and also work when it is combined with the logo.
While I have stated that I originally envisioned the logo using a script or hand lettered font I am open to other options. But, like I said...just don't find a font and type it out.
