Mirror Match Games
I'm a game industry veteran who's left his full time job to start an independent game studio. We will be making games for both the PC and mobile (the iPhone, in particular). Our placeholder website is up at http://mirrormatchgames.com/.
While our first project hasn't been announced, it's a transition away from the more casual market work I've done in years past, and a return to more traditional game genres (think real time strategy games, role playing games, space sims, etc).
Most of our games will target a slightly older demographic of gamers, predominantly the 18-34 market. These are the people who have been playing games for as long as they can remember, and have fond memories of many of the games from their childhood. They're very technologically savvy and take their gaming hobby seriously, and are looking for deep worlds to explore that provide new experiences. They are also likely fans of high fantasy, science fiction, and other common "geek" interests.
This logo will be used in the following ways:
1. Will be at the top of our homepage, http://mirrormatchgames.com
2. Will be the initial screen that players see in each of our games. The logo will be centered on either a pure black or pure white background, depending on the game.
The full name of the company is "Mirror Match Games", but the phrase "Mirror Match" should be the top priority. The word "Games" can be made smaller and of secondary importance. I'd like the words "Mirror Match" to be bold and clearly readable.
When you submit please show the logo on both black and white backgrounds so I can get a feel for how it looks.
Please no clipart or stock images.
It'd be cool if you could incorporate the concept of a mirror or reflection into the logo. Don't feel the need to be literal with it, if you've got a fun idea run with it!
I'd like the final version as both an Adobe Illustrator file and a high-resolution Adobe Photoshop file. I can export to game assets and jpg from there.
Please let me know if any additional details are needed and I'll do my best to provide them.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!
