- ITEM 1: BRAND NAME AND TAGLINE OF WEBSITESailJuice.com ... the sharp end of sailing...
This should appear to the left of the banner (as it does currently on the website) http://sailjuice.trial.subhub.com/h…ges/public
The theme of the website will be light blue, but please feel free to play around with differentcolours for the wording. As you can see from my more detailed design brief here ( http://sailjuiceblog.com/design/ ), there is an Indiana Jones theme that I've suggested.
If you want to have a play with fading-out ofdifferent colours (again, refer to my more detailed design brief), then I'd be interestedto see those ideas too.
- ITEM 2: CARTOON LOGOPlease incorporate three types of boat (from left to right:keelboat, catamaran, and Laser dinghy) into the final cartoon, and inthe same order as they appear in my design brief here:
Make all three boats so thatthey're directly alongside each other, all bursting off the same wave, with lots of splash.
Remember, the photos above are to get the right format for thecartoon, but you do not need to keep strictly to the detail of theseimages. I want you to have fun with this. For an idea of the style ofcartoon I'm looking for, look at the Shark logo here:
and some of the great sailing cartoons on this website:
- ITEM 3: 950Px by 80Px Banner Once you've done Items 1 & 2, I'd like you to incorporate theminto a header banner for a website, with banner measurements of:
950pixels (same width as http://www.BBC.co.uk) by 80 pixels deep.
The backgroundshould be light blue.
Item 1 (the words) should be on the left
Item 2 (the cartoon) should appear middle/right
Please save the final logo as a GIF file.
By the way, I don't want you to pay too much attention to the styleor design of the website, but to give you a context for where thisbanner will be appearing, it will be replacing the dark blue banner atthe top of the home page which you can see by clicking on the linkbelow.
Thanks, and good luck!
