We originally hired Mr. Jok to rebrand. We then hired him him to do variants of our logo for specific departments in our business. Did a great job! Would certainly use him again.

Great designer. GAdrian's design really represented what our non-profit was all about
Great designer to work with. Rapsodia was super quick at responding to our feedback and brought forward a unique and clean design. Thanks for such a great experience. Cheers!

How mart 8 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Fluffy Light Engineering OR FLE (or nothing at all)
What’s your company slogan?
"Mixing business and pleasure since 1998" or nothing at all. I really just want a logo for now.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am an individual working as a freelance designer / maker. I am establishing myself as a contract fabricator in set and stage props, lighting design, contract making of "stuff", such as illuminated signage, accent lighting, electro mechanical gizmos, costumes. I don't take myself too seriously, but I work seriously hard, so I'm after a web icon / logo to encompass this. My target audience are hobbyists who might stumble across my webpage researching how to build or do something, as well as people who might be checking out my portfolio to see what I am capable of doing..
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Art & Design
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I'm focused on finding an icon / logo for the most part. I do a lot of work with laser cutting so a logo that I can laser cut is high on my wish list, that means line work or high contrast logo that easily translates to line work. If you have a look at my website fle33.com, a wordpress site, I am looking for something to replace the deer with. Anything witty will be considered. Humorous a big bonus. Content will be added into my site soon.
I'd kind of prefer to not have the words "Fluffy Light Engineering" incorporated in the logo only because they take up a lot of space. If you have an idea please explore that though. "FLE" is an acceptable trade off. Without words though the issue for me has been trying to find a logo that doesnt need words. I would really like something that represents the words "fluffy" "light" and "engineering" in any wild combination you can imagine. Something playful is preferred..
I love symmetry.
In lieu of an icon I'd also like to explore a typographic logo.. maybe a combo of icon and type... If you have ideas on this, I'm not after anything too casual. I've explored many many many fonts from online font foundries and download sites, and somethings I like for a little while then they bore me. Please feel free to explore here, don't take too much time though and if you post something I'll let you know if it's something worth exploring further.
I also really like the idea of having a little mascot.. something that I can recycle like the deer below to communicate things on my web site. Not critical, but keep it in mind..
