EZRA'S POUND
We're a leading espresso/roastery/gallery in Toronto. Our aesthetic includes a mix of high/low tech. Custom built and redesigned coffee brewing equipment. Our space mixes sensible design with an elemental antique subtext. It is in the mix of old and new that grounds our design sense. The 'Pound" in Ezra's Pound is based on our lb coffee sales and antique scale collection. The equilateral triangle is the single symbol in our packaging. The triangle acts and the tip point of our "scale." We are on the leading edge of organic, local, and environmental business consciousness, but we do not like to throw this "green" business in everyone's faces. We're low key and extremely meticulous in our presentation and product.
- savvy
-design oriented

- has to utilize the triangle (tipping point) of our scale
-should speak to our "event horizon" espresso blend
-we envision a point between two plains where the triangle seems to float
-we are not cheesy. logo should reflect antique contemporary
-logo could feel masonic, archetypal in its presence
-should be able to be reproduced as a sticker for a coffee bag - does not preclude our website or business cards.
-our present font is bodoni bold but are open to other options.
-our place utilizes a very high aesthetic in the are of coffee a making.
-logo should be in a .ai or .pdf. so can be printed.
