I loved working with Uma. The design she produced was wonderful. I had no real vision in mind and she read me well. It did take longer than I had anticipated but both of us had some life challenges to deal with and the end product was worth the wait. I feel like I have a new friend that I would be really happy to work with if there is need in the future.

Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
No. I would like to feature the word Alkimi (could be in upper case if you like) and the word 'Designs' needs to be very secondary and not a huge part of my brand identity (but it needs to be included!)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is a new business which will design and manufacture hand made prayer mala necklaces and sacred jewellery. This is not a hippie alternate cheap kind of mala range but a sophisticated high quality range - think semi precious stones, silk thread and luxurious tassels, sacred beads, sterling silver and gold beads and feature pendants. This range will appeal to spiritually minded people as well as those who enjoy wearing them purely for fashion/beauty. Those who meditate or practice yoga would be part of my target market. I would imagine the age of my target market would be 30+ & predominantly female. I will also have some male/unisex pieces. I would like my logo design to be simple, sophisticated and upmarket - a spiritual feel would be OK but not an overwhelmingly alternate look please. I would like to use my logo as a hallmark for stamping on gold/silver pendants so a round shape would be ideal.
