m2aO got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo for those who love kickstarter and indiegogo

FunderStar.com Is a crowdfunding platform for businesses who have previously product-funded through Indigogo and KickStarter (so these businesses tend to have created a tangible product and are now seeking funding by giving up equity in their business). We naturally have to appeal to two audiences: 1.) Investors who want a platform to find the best businesses in which to invest (so we need to look established); and to 2.) businesses seeking funding, for whom we want to appeal trustworthy but young and.. dare I say it.. fun. We want to come across as an established, safe bet, but also as a novel solution to people fundraising for their product development. We are based in the UK. We see an opportunity for the chosen designer to perform more projects for us.
Because we need to align with kickstarter.com and indiegogo.com, our design should be simplistic
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
m2aO collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
