Art & Design
Handmade, sculptural, modern jewelry and accessories for people who like simple yet surprising things. Designed and handmade by an engineer and artist. Combining engineering, art and craft by studying materials, shapes, processes, and culture through jewelry (and other accessories). Processes like ancient gilding techniques, traditional french leather working methods as well as modern manufacturing will be used in the designs to create something surprising in each piece. Each piece will be high quality and made with love by hand. Pieces will range in price from $100-$300 so it is made for people who appreciate craft and quality while still being accessible to a large variety of customers. My pieces are inspired by nature and all my time in the mountains
I have chosen to go with matilda reye for the company name... ------- the word "design" doesn't necessarily need to be a significant part of the logo unless the designer thinks its best for the brand. i would like a logo that could stand alone without the name. I'm hoping the logos can help me decide if I should use my name (matilda reye) or my concept (rainbow storm) for the company name. The company description and concept is the same for both names. I like the idea that a rainbow and a storm are the juxtaposition of something calm and crazy, controlled and uncontrolled, simple and wild/unexpected...can this be represented in a logo?
