a small, privately-held (family) investment management firm. the logo is for personal use for the firm. it has to be simple and sophisticated and the logo has to imply investments/financial services.

The company is named Taconic after the Taconic parkway that connects new york city to upstate new york through the hudson valley. It is an incredibly scenic route through nature, mountains and rolling hills and was frequented by native americans. Taconic comes from an indian word Taghanic. That's just the history....
