The firm is proud of its ocean theme and laid back, beach location (located steps away from a surf break), despite being an investment business.
This is for a podcast logo. The podcast name is "Defy the Fade" and those words should be in the logo.
The name "Defy the Fade" a reference to WCM's search for companies that can continue to grow their businesses beyond analyst expectations. In essence, in their financial modeling, Wall Street analysts will fade their assumptions for a company’s sales growth to a country’s GDP growth after 5-10 years. On the other hand, WCM is looking for companies with business models that can defy that fade-to-GDP-growth assumption and continue growing longer and stronger than the market expects. At its core, this is a very differentiated, unique, and contrarian approach to investing versus the standard thinking in the investment industry as a whole.
Please include the WCM logo in the design somewhere, or at least the word WCM.
