jrgkgb got their new logo design by running a design contest:
4 day contest, $250 - Logo for Job Stress Site
Check out jrgkgb's Logo design contest…
The site will be workers discussing stress and dissatisfaction at work, providing tips on coping mechanisms and changing their situation. The logo needs to be in a "sweet spot" between a santized corporate logo and something more whimsical and relaxed.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Get Help, Give Help Desired Style: Clean and simple Accepted File Formats: PSD or EPS, including fonts. While the logo should be easily recognizable as something related to business and the office, it also should be fun and unique. Something important to consider: While the subject matter of the site will be serious, we want the atmosphere to be fun and relaxing. For that reason, stick toward "cooler" colors. If you're going to use a red, yellow, or orange, make sure they're fairly muted and not "in your face" screaming. The standard background will be white, though bonus points for flexibility. The site will have a lot of grays and gradiants, sort of an "apple-ish" feel, and we'd like the logo to fit that scheme. It should have a "web 2.0" feel, meaning it needs some texture and depth. (But no need for a faded shadow underneath!) A possibility, though not a requirement, is to somehow accentuate the word "stress" in the logo. Including the tagline "Get Help, Give Help" is also preferred but not required. To give a better idea of what we're looking for, attached are some stock photos we intend to use for the site. Use of the photos (or anything similar) in the logo is fine, but not required. http://www.istockphoto.com/file_search.php?action=file&lightboxID=2357656
