Create the next logo for Southern Bay Brewing Company

Southern Bay Brewing Company is an Australian owned and operated brewery. We produce premium hand crafted beer for both domestic and international markets.

Logo: The logo will have to stand out on the beer labels we print. On the shelf, in the fridge and floor stacked beer both in cartons and on the bottles. The standard style beer label will not suffice. Simple, clean, upmarket and memorable will be communicated in the logo. Slogan: Short & memorable. We'd like a catchy slogan that sums up our brand and takes off like the worldwide planking craze. Reference: Think of successful beverage brands i.e Brewdog "Beer for Punks", Little Creatures, Stone & Wood, [yellow tail], view our current website. Requirements: The logo will go across all static and dynamic mediums. It must be enduring as once we decide we will not be changing it. Please avoid Kangaroos or the Australian Map. We want the logo to represent a modern Australian Brewery moving forward with confidence. Current Beer Styles: We will be producing Draught, Pale Lager, Pale Ale, Red Ale & Amber Ale. We will stick to mainstream beer styles initially and then introduce small one off beer styles. These one off beers will be distinctive and award winning to get a reputation as a quality and innovative brewery. Idea: The idea is to sell as much as we can and have the beers as a mainstream upmarket choice for those wishing to drink Premium Hand Crafted Beer styles that can be bought in an on-premise outlet (restaurants, bistros, cafes, hotels etc). It will look good on the table alongside wine or consumed as a sessionable beer at a backyard bbq or party. It will also go into off-premise outlets (bottle shops, liquor stores, supermarkets etc). It has to look good on the shelf, fridge and floor stacked so it stands out and consumers will be drawn to it and it will sell in big volumes, without it suffering from being too mainstream.
