We are a small recruiting firm that leads the "robotics industry recruiting" niche. We don't want our logo to be too R2D2 or blatantly robotics looking, however, as we have a couple of corporate clients outside of the robotics industry. Much of the marketing design and logo action in our field is boring, stale or really, really old looking. We want a clean, contemporary and eye-grabbing new logo that we can use with our existing website, as well as on letterhead, business cards, etc. No spacemen, no cutesie, please. The majority of our client base and the candidates we place into jobs are educated, techie men.
