What we do: design and provide sewing patterns and kits online and through retailers why: each product line has an element related to conservation. To begin with we are launching Unique Australian Animals in Aboriginal print fabrics. these kits will come with conservation information for each animal. It is a FUN, TRENDY, ALTERNATIVE education tool. Part proceeds go towards conservation of these animals. As stated, this is an initial project and is not the companies sole product line. (but conservation is the key element in all products) The name: 'Komba' is the Swahili name for 'Bush baby' (google it!) and 'Bungu' is an Aboriginal term for 'Sugar Glider' (google that one too!) This name symbolises the businesses philosophy to contribute financially and in education, to the conservation of wildlife from one side of the globe to the other. Vibe: warm, friendly, fun, free, boutique, creative, eclectic, contemporary, stylish and inspirational Vision: to see the natural world understood, and therefore loved on a deeper level Target audience:- tourists - boutique sewing and fabric shops - women aged 20-35 (aunties, young mothers) - women aged over 55 (grandmothers)
