Lee.foote got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create the next logo for H D Foote Lumber Company
Check out Lee.foote's Logo design contest…
The HD Foote Lumber Company is a small family-owned business in central Louisiana, USA, with about 5000 acres of pine timber land that is managed on a sustainable basis (we cut a little and plant a lot). It has been in the family for 75 years and has supported 3 generations of 4 families. Design elements we see as representative and beneficial are possibly things like: The lumber company name (HD Foote Lumber Company), A tree seedling, A mature tree (Loblolly pine, Pinus taeda) Some yellow (our company colour on tree marking) in lettering Indicators of good management, environmentally sensitive use Productivity of pine lumber Wildlife habitat A chainsaw if tastefully done
We would like it to tell a historical, profitable story. It is less about branding than an explanatory simple statement of our identity to family, friends, and close business partners that already have a clue.
