We are a website that provides information and resources to a community of people who desire to be prepared for any eventuality. Our content will range from self-sufficient living (ie: water harvesting, gardening, food storage, and alternative energy) to tactical self-defense (ie: firearms reviews, martial arts, and physical fitness).
Logo types to explore
We are just getting the website up and running and this will be our first logo. This company is being founded by two Army Combat Vets, so we tend to like things to be a little more on the masculine and aggressive side. We would like to incorporate a strong black sheep's head with curved horns in the logo. Simple, but unique and memorable. Another inspiration for the logo might be a military type shoulder patch. We also thought about a rifle (m-4) and some other tool (hatchet, machete) crossed underneath the sheep's head, kind of a jolly roger look. We would like our business name in a simple, but cool Font. We have a tag line that might also fit in some of the marketing materials and definitely on the website. Prepare. Survive. Thrive. Our demographics are widely varied. They could include home gardners, alternative energy folks, military types, and people just looking for tips on self-sufficiency. Generally they will be fairly no-nosense people that believe in rugged individualism, personal liberty, and above all Preparedness. These people do things others don't and some of these things may seem a little out of the norm, thus the Black Sheep concept. We are open minded about the design and would like to see what a bunch of talented artists can do with this concept. Thanks.
