My online portfolio is at http://www.ammosaic.gallery - Getting a feel for this art work seems like it would be essential for the graphic designer. The works are unique; there are very few artists working in ammo, and basically no one else doing this the way I am doing it. The purpose / use of the logo will be to brand the works, as well as brand my personal name which of course is fairly unique. I am including a signature graphic which I used to create bronze and steel signatures for use on the actual works from now on. It is NOT at all a "must" to include this script graphic, but if the designer were to go this route (s)he should have this as a starting point.
EDIT: The second download, a fake ammunition casing "head" is a design I did myself, in Photoshop - I am absoutely NOT insisting that it be part of the logo. However I could envision this being filtered or altered in some way, or incorporated in some way...
EDIT #2: I am not interested in a pictorial image of myself such as a face etc. - icons yes; faces, not so much.
EDIT #3 - Spelling counts! It's spelled AMMOSAIC - a word I coined made from 'ammo' and 'mosaic'. - Took me a while to notice some submissions were misspelled.
Keep those fonts simple. I like less-ornamented fonts, especially if you're representing the almost microscopic letters stamped on an ammo head.
EDIT #4: I probably should have uploaded this picture earlier - sorry! - but these are the actual brass, bronze and steel signatures that I have had made and will be the signatures on the art pieces from now on. I do not expect / want to see these used literally, but I do think it might be helpful to see these because they will be integrated into each art work.
Thanks - lots of great stuff I am seeing!
