I have used Arkona on several occasions. I am always super impressed with her work, communications and timeliness.
This designer followed the brief and gave us exactly what we wanted with a twist that was even more than we had expected.

My name is Adam and the term ‘Adamic’ means "of-adam or resembling him." Adamic also has biblical references including adamic supposedly being the language of Adam and Eve.
The attached image is just an idea and is no way a suggestion of where to take the logo. The ‘hands’ in this image are from Michaelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel, which he named “The Creation of Adam.” As such, it references the "adamic" part of adamic-creations and perhaps hints that there is something more meaningful behind it (and makes you think?). Woodworking is also all about working with your hands. I don’t want the logo to be religious based, but like the relationship that the components can depict. Of course this story needs to be told visually.
The initial use of this logo is to create a physical brand that is used to burn the image into my wood creations (it is important that design takes this into account so the image doesn't look 'muddy' or blurry when burned). I am not currently running a business, but may do so in the future.
