The design was creative, the artist was constantly thinking of ways to make it better, I was really impressed all around. Thank you!!

Good at incorporating feedback, didn't adhere to the prompt very closely, however in this case it worked out as the result was a little more interesting.

-Logo should be based on/incorporate a check mark.
-Should work as an app icon or be easily adapted to one.
-The product name (Portformer) should *not* be integrated into the logo itself. The product name is not a priority for us--we're probably going to use an off-the-shelf typeface.
-Should look okay on a variety of different backgrounds--light and dark.
-The attached images are just for reference/inspiration. *You do not need to recreate them or work from them*
We tend to like modern and minimalistic designs without a lot of small intricate details, but I'm open to anything. A single color or multi-color design would work. Flat or 3D is fine.
If you could make a 2-3 animated version (perhaps SVG) for a loading screen or a splash screen, that would be plus.
Perhaps the check mark could mimic or incorporate a kind of economic forecast line (see attached file, image on right). So it would evoke an investment dipping then increasing in value. *If you can do this convincingly, you have a good shot at winning.* We could not make it work (we are also poor designers).
