Wake Up America
Wake Up America is a conservative movement, very much in line with the Tea Parties, yet we are corporate, too. Our independent representatives build their own conservative teams and help us to spread-the-word, and reps earn income as they build their teams. We should be professional, and we want people to trust us.
While our mission is serious as it defends the Constitution against threats such as Obama, MoveOn.org, and America's tilt towards socialism, we are going to incorporate humor and have some fun, whether it’s with funny videos or at our own rallies and events.
Our audience is both men and women in the U.S., age 21 and up. They are frustrated with high taxes, federal spending, illegal immigration, and a large federal government that is increasingly trying to control our lives.
They respect our Constitution and the wisdom of our Founding Fathers. And many need to earn extra income because of our financial crisis. We provide a format for them to earn money as they help Wake Up America to raise money for national advertising campaigns.
Wake Up America would like a logo that is clean and distinctive. Ideas…it could be nautical, memorable, easily identifiable. Imagine it on signs and banners at rallies. It should not have a sun in it, or a coffee cup, or an alarm clock.
Foremost, we will use it on our website and all over the internet. It will also be used on hats and shirts, bumper stickers and signs, brochures and business cards. You may view our current logo on our website at http://www.wakeupamerica.com. Our new logo will be the first step in the re-design of our site, which will have more white space, and probably be more corporate.
Our current thought is that if any part of the logo is emphasized, it should be the Wake Up vs. the America……but we are open to any look.
We are not sure if we want an icon because it may distract from the name, but we are open to your interpretation (currently leaning against an icon).
Colors…we want to use navy and tangerine/orange, similar to the current site, and similar to the color scheme of UVA (University of Virginia).
We will need the logo for both print and web formats.
Thank you for your interest.
